Our specialist and experienced team of dedicated professionals provide input at a level they feel comfortable with and in a timely manner.
Marylka Sofia Puchalska-Rawson
Case Manager, Director. AdvDipMid, BMedSci (Hons) (First)
Marylka has over 14 years’ experience of case management and was the Regional Manager for the Children and Young Persons‘ team for a leading case management company.
Marylka also has 15 years’ personal experience as an advocate for a teenager with an acquired brain injury, and has also worked on a voluntary basis with families who have children and young adults with brain injury, providing advice and support.
These experiences have brought valuable insight into every aspect of care, rehabilitation and educational issues, along with insight into the emotional demands on families and the effects of these.
She is also very much aware of the impact of having support/care in the home, and understands the need for honesty, empathy, professionalism and the need to build a trusting relationship.
Marylka has undertaken Bond Solon training for Expert Report writing. Marylka enjoys dog walking, horse riding and arts and crafts. She also has an adult doll’s house she is working through dressing room by room.
Karen O’Brien
Case Manager, Nurse Trainer. RGN, RSCN, NMP, PGDip
Karen is a skilled and proactive Children and Young Person’s Case Manager with 30 years of experience of paediatric nursing. She has a diverse and varied knowledge working with children and young people in a number of areas including surgery, neurology, orthopaedic, medicine, respite, community, palliative care and learning disabilities, which is reflected in her case management practise.
Karen has a strong record of maintaining exceptional standards of care and delivers a high quality service. She is passionate about the quality of care children and young people should receive, both through case management and within the statutory services. Karen is keen that care delivered is evidence-based and within national standards. She has a proven record of developing strong relationships and links with other clients, services, professionals and the medico-legal team.
Karen can also offer training in enteral feeding, tracheostomy care, epilepsy, medication and moving and handling.
Jade Kerry
Case Manager, BA Hons Social Work
Jade has expertise in working with young clients, their families and support staff. Her experience includes the assessment of clients, providing care and 24-hour care packages, working closely with the client and their families. Preparing and supporting clients and families through transitions in a skilled and approachable manner to reassure the client and their family, as well as liaising and coordinating with a range of professionals.
Jade is also experienced in organising and leading multi-disciplinary teams to ensure therapeutic and rehabilitation needs are being met.
Jade is committed to working in partnership with children, young people and their families in order to achieve positive outcomes.
Emma Hoffman
Case Manager, MA Social Work
Emma’s career commenced working at a specialist residential school for young people with epilepsy and complex needs in 1995. She developed a particular interest in working with disabled children and their families and embarked upon her social work training in 1998.
Emma worked a number of years for various local authorities in the Disabled Children’s service achieving an MA in Social Work and vast experience in assessing, implementing and reviewing personalised support packages and the co-ordination of an individually-tailored multi-disciplinary team approach.
Emma transitioned to case management in 2015 as a Case Manager working with children and young adults with wide ranging needs including learning disability, brain injury, complex medical needs, cerebral palsy and physical disabilities. Emma also has experience of working on wrongful birth cases.
Emma is based in the West Yorkshire area
In her spare time Emma enjoys walking, travelling in the UK and abroad, listening to music and going to live gigs. She has a love hate relationship with her garden and holds RHS level 2 and 3 qualifications. She is a self-proclaimed ‘crazy cat lady’ and animal lover.
Sarah Bell
Case Manager, BA Hons Occupational Therapy
Sarah is a qualified Occupational Therapist, who has worked as a Case Manager since August 2007. She has extensive experience of working with acquired brain injuries and various neurological conditions and complex disabilities with adults, children and young people with physical, emotional and mental health difficulties, in the capacity as a Support Worker, Team Leader, Rehabilitation Assistant, Occupational Therapist and Case Manager.
Sarah’s vast expertise in case management includes the assessment of needs and preparation of costed case management reports, along with their planning and implementation. She has specialist knowledge and skills in working with young people and their families transitioning into adulthood, in both pre and post settlement cases.
Sarah produces Expert Care Reports for medico legal purposes.
Sarah is based in the East Midlands
In her spare time Sarah enjoys walking, badminton and spinning classes. She loves a good novel and spending time with her family.
Emily Sambhi
Senior Support & Quality Compliance Manager
Emily joined MSP Case Management as PA to Marylka Puchalska in 2018. To accommodate the company’s growth, Emily’s role has evolved over time. She became the Support Worker Manager in 2021 and has taken on the role in 2024 of Senior Support & Quality Compliance Manager. Emily is also our Nominated Individual for CQC.
As the Senior Support & Quality Compliance Manager, Emily delivers high-level support to the Company Directors and she is the driving force for implementation of Company Policy and Procedure, which is essential to Quality Assurance and Compliance.
She has a strong commitment to implementing safe recruitment procedures for MSP which is of benefit for clients and employees alike. She has an eye for detail and enjoys being highly organised, which is of advantage in this demanding role. With a can-do attitude, Emily loves providing a friendly and efficient service for our clients and positively contributing to the productivity of the company. She is delighted to be in a position where she feels she is making a difference.
Emily enjoys a work-life balance. Volunteering in her spare time, as well as enjoying walks in the countryside.
Bev Robotham
Executive Team PA
Bev has many years’ experience as a Personal Assistant both in the UK and Australia, she also spent a number of years managing administration teams within the food packaging and fork lift truck industries. The last 14 years have been spent working with one of the local universities in various roles including student recruitment, marketing and faculty administration.
Bev joined MSP in February 2022 and her role is busy, varied and interesting comprising working closely with the team and providing a high level of confidential administrative support to ensure the clients receive the best possible care.
Outside work Bev enjoys an outdoor lifestyle walking her two dogs and riding her horse.
Vicky Taylor
Company Administrator
Vicky provides administrative support to the team at MSP.
Vicky has enjoyed a varied career, including as private Nanny and jeweller’s assistant. In more recent years she has worked for a local authority as Assessment and Care Manager for Adults with Learning Disabilities.
Vicky thoroughly enjoyed working in this environment and was passionate about promoting normal lives for her clients, and advocating for them, their parents and carers.
Ian Rawson
Business and Finance Director, BEng Hons Civil and Structural Engineering
Ian was the Director of his own Structural Engineering Company for over 15 years.
Initially, Ian helped Marylka in setting up MSPCM and helped out with implementing computer systems and software, but as MSP expanded, the workload did likewise, until it reached a point where it made sense to work in MSPCM full time.
He brings his experience into the management and finances of the company and ensures that client funds are safe and managed appropriately.
In his spare time Ian enjoys running, and is a keen cyclist.
Stacey McCullagh
Case Manager, BSc Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, RGN, Nurse Prescriber
Stacey is a qualified Nurse, experienced in working with children and young adults with wide ranging needs including learning disability, brain injury, complex medical needs, cerebral palsy and physical disabilities. Stacey also has experience in carrying out Immediate Needs Assessments for a combination of multi-track and catastrophic medico-legal cases, making recommendations regarding health and rehabilitation needs.
She has experience in assessing, setting up and reviewing personalised support packages and the co-ordination of an individually tailored multi- disciplinary team.
Stacey is based in Sheffield. In her spare time Stacey enjoys spending time with her young family, going for long walks in nature, attending sound baths and meditation classes.
